They are the ideal heating solution for both glass and poly greenhouses.The durable tubular heat exchanger provides maximum and uniform heat transfer and significantly longer service life. Tubular heat exchangers are constructed of heavy-duty, 20-gauge 409 stainless steel and are less susceptible to contaminants than the exposed clamshell heat exchangers found in other competitive models.

Better efficiency for low-cost operation:
Units feature a reliable and efficient direct spark pilotless ignition system, providing fast heat delivery. This system incorporates an integrated electronic control board to regulate the system sequence of operation, including an onboard LED indicator for simple troubleshooting. Direct spark ignition and power venting reduce standby losses and provide 81% thermal (combustion) efficiency.

Simple service and installation:
Shield™ gas-fired unit heaters are designed for cost-effective, timesaving installation and service. Models are certified in accordance with Category I and III venting requirements. Designed with the service person in mind, operating controls are easily accessible in one centrally located control panel.

Models to meet any size application:
No other greenhouse unit heater offers the Btu output – from 150,000 to 400,000 – to handle the heating needs of large applications. All Shield™ gas-fired unit heaters are backed by a full 5-Year Warranty on the heat exchanger, flue collector and burners.

Ordering Information: These unit heaters will ship directly from Sterling's manufacturing facility in MA. All standard units will leave the factory in 10 working days. Plan an additional 3-4 days for delivery.

Warranty: You are purchasing this item from H-Mac Systems, Inc. We are a HVAC distrubutor located in Boston, MA. This product has a 1 year total parts warranty, and an additional 5 year heat exchanger warranty. This is a parts only warranty. If a part fails, Sterling will ship a replacement part to you. The labor to install the part is NOT included. This warranty is between you and the manufacturer. Detailed warranty information will be included in the box. H-Mac Systems will help you facilitate post-sale issues with the manufacturer, but please understand that all post-sale issues are ultimately between you and the manufacturer. Shipping: As always, shipping in the USA (lower 48 states) is included. Heaters less than 100 lbs ship via UPS Ground. Larger heaters ship via common carrier (FedEx Freight, Roadway Express, etc).
