A roof curb is designed to simplify the installation of roof mounted equipment and provide durable life long equipment support and weather tight service. The two basic designs offered are "roofed-over flashing" and "self-flashing". Both styles are available in a wide variety of sizes and configurations with options to provide a product to suit every application.

If it's easier, take a digital picture or draw a sketch detailing your requirements. Provide as much information you can. The more information you provide, the closer we can match your application. We do not need every last detail to generate an estimate. Roof curb and equipment support rail pricing is primarily dictated by the total weight of the steel required and the freight. We will confirm the important fit-up dimensions before entering your roofcurb into production.

Step 3) We will provide a quotation within 24 hours. Most roof curbs and support rails are built in 3-5 business days. Custom adapter curbs may take up to 2 weeks. Plan 3-4 days for standard ground freight. Expedited freight methods are available.
Step 4) If you decide to order the roofcurb or equipment rails, we will provide you with a detailed submittal package for your review and approval.

Single pitched curbs and double pitched roofcurbs are used on sloped roofs. Self flashing curbs are typically best suited for sloped roof applications.

Metal roof curbs are constructed of 18 ga. galvanized steel. 18 ga. GalvalumeTM or .063" aluminum are available for an additional charge. Standard 8" height may be modified to any standard or special height. Curbs feature continuously welded seams and rib pockets [Model MRSS, MRLC], and are lined with 1-1/2" fiberglass insulation. Curbs are furnished with 1/4" polystyrene gasket on top ledge and a cricket-style water diverter to prevent pooling of water.

Restaurant roof curbs are designed to comply with applicable NFPA [National Fire Protective Association] code requirements as well as a variety of local requirements. Specialized restaurant curbs are made with the same rugged features found in standard RF-style and SF-style curbs. In addition, units can be equipped with 4" x 1/2" ventilation slots to release trapped heat from kitchen exhaust ducts.

Roof curb adapters are designed to fit new equipment to existing curbs. Constructed of 18 ga. galvanized steel with continuous welded seams. 1/4" polystyrene gasket on top ledge. Available as an enlarger or reducer.

Acoustical sound attenuating roof curbs have a special sound absorbing material designed for use with power roof ventilators where quiet operation is required. Sound curbs are designed with streamlined air flow passages using a core of modular sound absorbing cells of special fiberglass held in a galvanized steel frame. Reduces roof fan noise transmitted back into the room or auditorium by approximately 40% yet reduces the total air flow capacity by only 3 or 4 percent. Featuring the rugged all-welded construction of our standard curbs, these sound attenuating curbs are available as Type RF, Type SF and Type RFRC. Minimum height is 16" and special heights are available.

Equipment support rails are custom made to meet specific requirements. Offered in 3" to 12" widths, 8" to 24" heights and standard lengths up to 10ft. Support rails in lengths greater that 10ft. are available at additional cost. Constructed of 18 ga. galvanized steel with continuous welded seams, integral base plate and flashing, and ample internal reinforcing. Wood nailer of specified width is secured to top of rail and covered by galvanized steel counter flashing cap.
