SEPARATED COMBUSTION UNITS use outside air for combustion. The separated combustion Hot Dawg Heaters draw combustion air from outside the workspace, ensuring the unit always has plenty of fresh, clean air to breathe. This fresh air supply reduces common concerns about dusty, dirty, or humid environments. Wood workers have standardized on the separated combustion units. Drawing combustion air from the outside increases the overall heating efficiency. It costs you money to heat your space. Why would you use this heated air for combustion when a separated combustion unit can use cool outside air that you aren't paying to heat?

STAINLESS STEEL HEAT EXCHANGERS are more durable then standard aluminized steel heat exchangers. The heat exchanger is the power plant inside your unit. The heat exchanger is exposed to extreme temperature differentials, fire, toxic byproducts of combustion, dirt and moisture. Stainless steel is stronger the aluminized steel. Consulting engineers specify stainless steel heat exchangers on 90% of commercial and industrial projects.

2-STAGE GAS CONTROLS allow your unit to fire at 100% or 50% capacity. If your unit is sized properly, it will require full capacity only 20% of the time. A 2 stage unit allows the unit to fire at a reduced capacity the other 80% of the time. Why run your unit at full capacity all the time when you can upgrade to a 2 stage unit that will run at 50% capacity most of the time?

HIGH CFM BLOWER UNITS get the air where you need it most - down to the floor. The maximum mounting height for a standard size 75 is 14 ft. The maximum mounting height for the same size 75 with the high CFM blower is 16 ft. This extra 2 ft. can mean the difference between sending the heat all the way down to the floor, or having the heat stop short of where it's needed most.

Hot Dawg Heaters General Installation Requirements:

1)Hot Dawg Heaters are mounted using 2 angle brackets provided.

2) Wire 115 volt, single phase power to unit heater.

3) Wire 24 volt thermostat to unit heater (Thermostat available as an accessory).

4) Install vent pipe.

5) Install gas pipe.

Ordering Information: These gas unit heaters are available for use with both natural and propane gas. Be sure to select the correct gas type from the drop-down menu. These gas unit heaters will ship directly from Modine's manufacturing facility in Virginia. All built-to-ordr units will leave the factory in about 8-12 business days. Plan 3-5 additional working days for standard ground freight.

Warranty: You are purchasing this item from H-Mac Systems, Inc. We are a distributor located in Boston, MA. This product has a 1 year total parts warranty, and an additional 10 year heat exchanger warranty. This is a parts only warranty. If a part fails, we will ship a replacement part to you. The labor to install the part is NOT included. This warranty is between you and Modine. Detailed warranty information will be included in the box. H-Mac Systems will help you facilitate post-sale issues with the manufacturer, but please understand that all post-sale issues are ultimately between you and the manufacturer.
