Modine PD unit air heaters are excellent for heating large, open areas such as factories, warehouses, workshops, and commercial garages. Gravity vented units are best suited for vertical venting. If your space is under a negative pressure or the pressure fluctuates, we highly recommend the model PDP which includes a power exhaust fan.

This product has a 1 year total parts warranty, and an additional 10 year heat exchanger warranty. This is a parts only warranty. If a part fails, Modine will ship a replacement part to you. The labor to install the part is NOT included. This warranty is between you and the manufacturer. Detailed warranty information will be included in the box. H-Mac Systems will help you facilitate post-sale issues with the manufacturer, but please understand that all post-sale issues are ultimately between you and the manufacturer.

Shipping: As always, shipping in the USA (lower 48 states) is included. Heaters less than 100 lbs ship via UPS Ground. Larger heaters ship via common carrier (FedEx Freight, Roadway Express, etc). Follow these steps to configure your Modine gas fired Air Heaters model PD:

Step 1) Letters 1,2: "PD" represents a gravity vented unit

Step 2) The numbers after the "PD" represents the MBH input: For example, a PD30 is 30 MBH, a PD300 is 300 MBH

Step 3) The next letter after the MBH input represents the heat exchanger type: A = aluminized steel, S = stainless steel

Step 4) The next letter after the heat exchanger type represents the ignition type: A = standing pilot, E = intermittant spark ignited pilot

Step 5) The next 2 numbers after the ignition type represents the power code: 01 = 115V/60/1, 02 = 230V/60/1, 03 = 200-208V/60/1 (Other voltages are available, a transformer is provided to convert the voltage to power code 01, 02 or 03)

Step 6) The next 2 numbers after power code represents the control code:

11 = single stage, standing pilot, 115V service, natural gas

12 = single stage, standing pilot, 200-208/230V service, natural gas

30 = single stage, intermittant pilot ignition, 115V service, natural gas
