Features
The Berko BDH high output, industrial grade electric blower heater is typically used in factories, assembly areas, enclosed smoking areas, construction sites, and repair stations. Heating is most effective when ceiling heights are 15 feet or less. Clean electric heat produces no harmful combustion by-products, so the Berko BDH can be left unattended worry-free. Heat is applied only in the areas where it is needed.
Description
A brightly painted heater enclosure forms the backbone of the Berko BDH blower heater. It is a structural frame consisting of two spun rings and two formed channels supporting a 20 gauge steel cylinder. The enclosure is phosphate coated for corrosion resistance and finished with powder coat paint. The heating cylinder pivots vertically to direct airflow. Front and rear grilles are 10 gauge, finished with a black powder coat, and designed to meet OSHA safety requirements. The Berko BDH is available in five sizes, from 7.5 to 30 KW.
Built-in safety features include an adjustable thermostat (range 40-100 degrees F) to control the outlet air temperature, and auto-reset thermal cutouts for the fan motor and heating elements. The thermostat provides settings for full off, fan only, and temperature control in the heating setting.
Berko BDH blower heaters feature a large, easily accessible control and wiring compartment containing a 3 pole magnetic contactor. A 120 Volt control transformer and motor starter provide additional safety on 480 and 600 Volt models.
